Blog for Monday 7th January 2008

This time I did have two ears working and I could hear everything that was being said!
I was discombobulated however having carefully prepared myself to listen to our President when up came Keith Smith talking about Hanover.
In the fullness of time however,  President Ken gave us an entertaining, yet modest account, of his activities near Kilimanjaro. So realistic were his descriptions of unpleasant but necessary activity, that I had the feeling that I could actually smell what he was trying to describe!

As an octiganarian grandpa, I was very pleased to see so many happy deaf children with pearly white teeth and wondered if the local hearing children were equally happy?
I am proud of the efforts of Haddenham and District Rotary Club, but wonder where is the rest of the world?
